Meet Angela Poulter, the hands and heart behind My Little Country Kitchen.

A qualified chef and baker for over 10 years, Ange is well reputed in her industry for providing fresh, delicious and beautifully presented food, all made by hand to order.

From humble beginnings selling biscuits and slices at local markets in 2012, Ange soon went on to study as a baker, then chef, with a dream to be able to share her love and passion for cooking with others.

A quiet achiever, Ange has had an amazing few years in business, receiving six silver and two bronze medals for her gourmet sausage rolls and spinach feta rolls, in 2017 and 2018.

In 2018 she was also nominated as a Top Three Finalist in the Women In Food Service Awards – Outstanding Service category. Competing with over 500 entries for this award, Ange was quite honoured to see her small home based business, from Kinglake West recognised in the top three!

Ange has also been awarded winning Wedding Caterer in the Wedding Industry Awards, Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges for the past 4 years (2020-2023) and been acknowledged at the ABIA wedding awards for the past 2 years.  Ange was elated to receive such accolades that demonstrate excellence in trust, quality, service, value and professionalism.
